Old tunes from Bourne catalog

This autumn we finished recording a project based on songs from the Bourne catalog. As of now we only made two songs but more are coming. Always a pleasure working on such beautiful songs with talented singers!

Here is a demo with Barbara Scaff:

Lucie Chapelle - "Mélanges"

Back in 2006, I produced two songs for Lucie Chapelle, "A toi" and "Dans les yeux de mon père" published by Jean Davoust. The album was released by FGL.

Here is the demo:

Souffle - Sound design for a short movie

I did a little soud design for a short movie a while ago on a short movie by Alejandra Magnasco and Connie Ott.

It was funny recreating sounds, I never did that before. Oh well, nothing very difficult but it was nice getting hands on something new. I also made a little track for the ending.

Here is an extract:

Diane Dassigny - "Les sacrées noces de Betty M."

Jérôme Bardon and I composed some songs for this play written by Julien Daillère. It was played in Paris last year featuring Diane Dassigny as the main character of Betty and Claude Rogen who played also the piano.
It was very interesting as this play is between a play and a musical. We were glad to participate to this project for such great comedians!

Zyx Records - "Paris Bar"

This compilation from Zyx Records featured 2 songs from artists we produced under the label Bobcat Interactive.

Pangea - world music album

Pangea is a project we made with Christophe Lebled and Manu Pezot. We wanted to make musics from various places in the world, uniting it as it should be.
One of the songs appeared on "Club Privé vol 2" - Atoll Music, alongside with an arrangement we made for Victoria.

Francorusse - Bass & guitar session

I was still at music school when I met Alex Jaffray. He posted on our board that he was looking for a guitar player. I answered and I recorded some tracks for him like the music for TF1 "Euro 96".

One day he asked me if I could play bass. At that time I was playing bass with classmates so I said yes! Very cool session with Julien Charley at the drums (this guy is amazing!).

House music, sexy singer talking french love words with a plain hot voice! That's the deal.Gem is a very nice person. Even if he's a moutain of muscles, he is also a moutain of love and friendship!
A special thanks to Yann Philippe Blanc who signed us at Universal/Mercury. He was a crazy talented guy, we were lucky to meet him.

Un pur moment de rock'n roll - Programmer

This is the second movie I worked on. I was in charge of programming and syncing the old hardware (U-matic, 24 tracks Sony, PC with audiowerk 8 and Logic Audio 4). Lots of headaches but great experience! I really feel lucky because it was just the end of all this kind of gear, the time for computers to invade every studios was coming fast.

I also helped on a string orchestration for a song and transcripted the scores.

Florent Pagny - "Recreation"

Everything started in a studio where I was an intern producer. One day, I was working on a string arrangement for a song and the bass player was there. It was Patrick Dupont who was part of Florent's band. He asked me if I would like to make a demo with him for Florent's new album.
Long story short, after the first demo, we've been asked to make 6 more. We finally produced 5 and 4 of them were on the CD. One of them has been choosen to be the first single, "Jolie môme".

Halloween resurrection - "Never gonna leave you" by Jes

Back in 2002, I've worked with Vassos Vassiliades on some songs for Jes. We recorded 2 of them with her. Lovecat Music took the project in hand.
What we didn't expect at all at this time was the addition of the song "Never gonna leave you" to a movie soundtrack. It's allways nice!
So it's only a 19 seconds of the track, we barely hear it but Tyra Banks seems to like it, thanks to her!

Nice to be in the credits, even with a mistake in your name:

Ana "Amor latino"

Last year, I produced 4 titles for Ana. We had a great time with some talented people like Manolo (guitar) or Joël Netry (percussions).
Ana was so fast singing the lead and backing vocals with an amazing feeling! Later this year I mixed a recording of her show at the Bataclan in Paris for the dvd.
Here's an excerpt:

David Bella - Weezee-Wig "Be my girl"

Well this is a part where friendship takes a very big place as it's more about the story of 4 crazy guys doing the music they like.
With Christophe Lebled, Emmanuel Pezot, David Bella made the album "Be my girl"under the name of Weezee-wig
Here's a demo of "Be my girl":

DJ Mr JimmyH "Done and redone"

I've worked for a long time with Jimmy. It was a very good experience as we really mixed our vision of music. What we've done is mainly lounge music, sometimes a little house, sometimes more experimental music. When we name a song "A bike on the beach", you sure don't get a pop song.

We've done 5 albums that can be found here and there: "Key west beach vol1", "Key west beach vol2", "In summer 2006", "Pearl Beach" and "Done and redone"
